Lisbon is Portugal capital city. It is also one of the oldest city in the world and the oldest in Western Europe, established long before London, Paris and Rome. Recent archaeological findings have shown that people from the Iron Age occupied the site from the 8th to 6th centuries BC and that they maintained commercial relationships with the Phoenicians. Those settled in Lisbon since 1200 BC, taking advantage of the sheltered harbor in the Tagus river estuary.
Lisbon is also a great Nature region with the 2 Natural Parks of Sintra Cascais and Arrabida in the proximity. This is where most of our tours and expeditions in Lisbon area take place.
