PADI Open Water Diver

Here is where Diver certification begins. If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience the adventure that is to see the subaquatic world beeing part of it, this is where it starts. You will get your PADI Open Water scuba diving certification with Haliotis Oeiras by Bork and go on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course. It is the best option if you intent to dive more that once, try dives are a good experience but nothing compared to the thrill of going deeper and longer, exploring more of the underwater life’s beauty. We can give you an amount of reasons why this is the most recognized diving Education Course.

You will be certificated to dive independently to 18 meters.

You will learn the fundamental concepts of scuba diving, gear needed, scuba techniques, how the buddy system works, what to take in count when planning a dive, underwater navigation, managing problems and more.
The course will have five knowledge development sessions that you can choose to take at our store with the explanation of our instructors or ask us to do it online, we understand that language can be a barrier but we can provide you the PADI’s online eLearning course and you will be able to understand everything in your mother language. It will be followed by a quiz and a global exam in the end.

While you are having the classes or going through the online process, you will have five sessions at the pool and it will end after four open water sessions, where you will do all exercises required and enjoy exploring the underwater life.

Open water dives can take place near Lisbon, Sesimbra or Berlengas Islands, depending on sea conditions.
