Join us on this adventure!

Towards… Santa Maria! Searched by divers from all over the world due to its abundance of marine species, we can see their famous manta rays, large pelagic shoals and, with some luck, catch the visit of our beloved whale shark. We included in this trip the Formigas and Dollabarat Offshore dives, known for the best visibility of Azores and recurring encounter with large pelagics, being the “Sun Island” the ideal destination for this unique dive at a distance of about 20 miles from the island.

17th Sep

Night Dive


After check-in into our hotel and get a briefing of the local dive center and the next few days, we will prepare equipment and get to our first dive in the island.
18th Sep

Offshore Dives Formigas & Dollabarats


We will embark on a 1 hour and 30 minutes boat trip to get to the most famous dive spot in Azores, the marine reserves Dollabarat Bank and Formigas Islands
19th Sep

2 Local Dives


We will finish this few memorable dives with two local boat dives in the morning, depending on sea conditions we will include Ambrosio, known by its frequent encounter with the manta rays and then a last coastal dive with great visibility to end the season.
20th Sep

Return Day


We will end this trip with a free morning to walk around the island before the flight, if it is your case. The flight back will respect the surface stop, in the morning depending on the last dives we have made, you might be able to go check Santa Maria’s Pico, the highest sightseeing point of the island.
