Lisbon Bike Tour is the best way to discover the city biking along the Tagus River. We will go by mountain bike from the city centre to Belem, where the Great Navigators used to depart from for the most fabulous discoveries. You will visit Lisbon city centre, its main squares and monuments, and ride along the Tagus River on the docks until Belem. We will pass under the San Francisco´s like bridge, the red bridge renamed 25th of April after the revolution of 1974. You will also discover Belem and its main monuments: Discoveries Monument, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, where you will leave the bikes and enter the Church of Santa Maria. The church hosts the tombs of Vasco da Gama, greatest Portuguese Navigator and Luis de Camoes, greatest Portuguese poet. The church is, following Kubler, the “most accomplished realisation of the late Medieval ambition of covering the greatest possible span with the lowest number of supports”. Of course we won´t miss a strategic stop at Pasteis de Belem where you will enjoy the best and most secret pastry in the world. Simply delicious!

You can stay in Belem after the tour to visit the area. Berardo Collection Museum is the best collection of modern and contemporary art in Lisbon, featuring Dali, Picasso, Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Marcel Duchamp amongst many other artists.

We use very comfortable mountain bikes that are perfect to handle Lisbon pavement which can turn uncomfortable in case you don´t have good bikes. Helmets are supplied as well as water and snacks.
